I have been in the healthcare field for just over 26 years. I have worked in the hospital. I have worked in long-term care. I have worked in short-term care. I have worked in hospice, and I also worked at the VA in Union Grove. My last job, I was a cook in a CBRF&RCAC for up to 38 residents. I cooked all 3 meals. I absolutely love working with the elderly. For the past year and a half, I have been doing in-home companion care. Of the clients I have had in the past year and a half, they have all had different stages of dementia. My services that I am able to offer include: companionship, shopping, transportation to appointments, meal preparation, feeding, andmost everyday needs. I do need the client to be ambulatory.
