About Katrina

Hi, I'm Katrina. I have several years of experience caring for children of all ages and genuinely love what I do. I worked in a childcare center for four years during college, where I cared for toddlers through adolescents, including children with disabilities. I'm very comfortable with routines, playtime, and adapting to each child's needs. I have a bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I love making childcare fun and engaging through games, story time, arts and crafts, and creative activities that keep kids excited and involved. I focus on creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and happy. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I truly enjoy building meaningful connections with kids. I'm currently looking for a part time role after my position was affected by recent Medicaid cuts, and I would love the opportunity to support a family while doing work I care deeply about.
