About Katrina

Passionate mental health counseling student and clinical intern in my early 30s, blending psychology expertise with hands-on experience managing a mental health clinic. Currently, I work with females in a county jail, addressing substance use disorders and cooccurring mental health issues. As a dedicated stepmom to three, I've been instrumental in raising my numerous cousins and love working with children. CPR/first aid/AED certified, with a wealth of graduate and undergraduate coursework in childhood development. Despite a full-time academic and professional schedule, I'm eager to bring my caring and therapeutic nature to a per-diem or full-time childcare role. With my own vehicle, love for travel, extensive family experience, and a goal to pursue a doctorate in psychology, I'm excited to find a kind, loving family to support and grow with. *in ref. to background check- I had a DUI in 2011 (I was 21 and immature but learned from my mistakes), my driving record has been clean since!*
