About Katlyn

I'd describe my personality as calm, caring, and intuitive. I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide a safe space for kids to be themselves and have fun! I started working with children when I was a teenager babysitting my neighbors kids as well as family members! In my spare time I like to spend time with my loved ones! I enjoy being outdoors and in nature. One thing you should know about me is I'm very reliable and care deeply about the relationships I build with your children. My skills include behavior management/de-escalation, teaching choices, and independence! I have a degree in social work, which allows me to care for children with a deeper understanding of them in relation to their environment as well as developmental stage of life! I find it extremely important to allow children to feel their big emotions! I will help guide them through these emotions with coping skills and healthy responses.
