About Katlyn

I'd describe my personality as calm, caring, and intuitive. I like working with kids because of their love and zest for life! I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide a safe place and hold a safe space for kids to be themselves and have fun! I started working with kids when I was a teenager babysitting my neighbors kids as well as family members! In my spare time I like to spend time with my loved ones! I enjoy being outdoors and in nature. One thing you should know about me is I'm very reliable and care deeply about the relationships I build with your children. My skills include behavior management/de-escalation, teaching choices, and independence! I have a degree in social work which allows me to care for children with a deeper understanding of them in relation to their environment. I find it extremely important to allow children to feel their big emotions and I will help guide them through these emotions with coping skills and healthy responses to adverse situations.
