Hi there! I'm Katlyn (Kitty). I'm 31 years old and live with my husband and our 2 cats. We got married last year and are a few years away from starting a family of our own, but until then my heart is in caring for other kids! In 2020 I was the nanny for 2 sisters, aged 9 months & 3. 5 years old. I'm currently caring for an active and bright 16mo old. I love exploring the outdoors, going on adventures, getting messy, and reading books. I have a huge collection of arts and crafts as I am a very creative and crafty person! In college I was the Camp Administrator/Assistant Director, which focused on helping elementary school-middle school aged kids with homework and organizational skills. I also worked for a Summer Camp for a few years where I was a driver/camp counselor for the middle school group. I believe it's so important to have people caring for your children that are loving, nurturing, kind, and trustworthy, which is why I make such a great nanny!

I've found that some caretakers tend to mentally check out once 5:00 comes around and their workday is over. This is simply not the case with Kitty. In the evenings when she gets home from work, she'll spend countless hours on the computer researching and coming up with a variety of new educational and recreational activities for the coming week in order to keep her kids engaged and stimulated. In this age of COVID, the prolonged weeks at home can start to become a bit repetitive and dull, especially for the little ones. Kitty excels in finding ways to disrupt that sense of monotony that results in happier kids, which invariably results in happier parents! At this point I find it appropriate and necessary to disclose that fact that Kitty is my wife, and I understand how one may think that I'd be biased. I think that if anything, the fact that we're married gives me insight into her work ethic that would be otherwise unknowable to her employers, so I figured I would share it.
