About Katlin

Hello, I am currently a teacher at the University of Toledo Early Learning Center but will be leaving my job on May 1st to pursue an alternative teaching license through the Ohio Department of Education. I have worked with a variety of age groups at the ELC, ranging from infants to school age. Although, I have spent most of my time working with toddlers (18months) and preschool/pre-k (ages 3-5). Further more, I have also been a babysitter for multiple different families in my lifetime. Furthermore, I also have a sibling who is a child psychologist with her PHD in child development. I have learned a great amount of skills and knowledge from her. I utilize my empathy and compassion to connect with children and have a gentle approach to handling behavioral issues. Lastly, I have an extensive background check done through the University of Toledo Early Learning center and will send a copy to you upon request.
