Hi there! My name is Katin and I am passionate about caring for children of all ages! I have 8 years of experience with children 6 weeks and up, and have spent time as a nursery school teacher, an elementary summer school teacher, and a full-time nanny. I have a BA from Sarah Lawrence College where I took various courses on childcare and developmental psychology, and I am currently pursuing a mastered degree in Education from Columbia Teachers College. I have various training certificates in childcare including early childhood mental health, foundations in health and safety, family engagement, and epinephrine injection. I am looking for a summer job in New York City from June to August. I will have just spent a year as a nursery school teacher and will be preparing to student teach in the fall. I am deeply committed to creating a positive, caring, and nurturing environment for children. Most importantly, I find so much joy in caring for children and would love to help out your family!

Katin was our nanny when our son was about a year old and she was so helpful. We would have loved to have her stay with our family for longer but she moved to the New York for college and we are so proud of her for furthering her education. I know she chose to focus on early childhood education along with working as a summer school teacher. These experiences have made her a well rounded and well qualified nanny. Katin is a hands on nanny and took great care of our son while keeping him on his usual schedule. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
