Hi there, I'm Katie. I've been caring for kids, from infants to teenagers, in some form for most of my life. I started babysitting in middle school (25+ years ago) and spent over a decade working in camps and retreats (first as a counselor and lifeguard, then in leadership). All those years of experience have taught me how to create spaces where kids feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves. I'm calm, attentive, and respectful of each child's personality and each family's routines. Katie is professional, punctual, friendly, and warm. The kids loved her! She's extremely capable and even reminded me to leave with her with a list of emergency numbers. She even straightened up my kitchen area - I noticed all my countertops and appliances/trash cans were wiped down! That was a nice touch because it was quite cluttered, lol.
