About Katie

I'd describe my personality as caring, responsible, and patient. I like working with kids because I enjoy teaching them skills to be successful in life. I love to see children grow and have fun in a safe environment. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I nannied for a neighbor, babysat for my middle school principal, worked at a daycare, and worked as a behavior technician for children on the autism spectrum. In my spare time, I like to be outside. I really enjoy walking my dog, playing pickleball with friends and family, and swimming. One thing you should know about me is that in the fall I am going to graduate school at Northern Illinois University to pursue a PhD in social - industrial organizational psychology.
