About Katie

Currently: Unavailable until 2026 I have been working with kids of all ages for many years now, in both professional and private settings. It is common for us adults to forget that kids are kids. Kids are meant to learn/grow through play and making messes! I am calm and patient when working with the kids. Professionally, I have worked at a preschool in the 3's & 4's classroom for three years. I also have worked for a church childcare program for eight years, where I worked with all ages. Privately, I have a family that I have babysat for, for 9 years now. I was there throughout their four children being born and have seen them grow up through the years. I have done many overnight child care babysitting for this family and I've been on trips to help with the kids. I am flexible and dedicated to the kids I work with. I graduated from UALR with a degree in Health Education and Promotion. I have also been trained in first aid and CPR.
