About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I am a special education teacher moving to Colorado from California in June. I am currently finishing my 4th year teaching with experience in both general education and special education. Before teaching, I worked as a full-time nanny for three children during graduate school, and I have continued nannying for that same family over the past 5 years during summers and school breaks. I love working with kids and creating a safe, fun, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel supported and cared for. I am patient, reliable, energetic, and experienced supporting children with a variety of needs and personalities. I enjoy planning activities, helping with routines, being outdoors, and building positive relationships with families. I will be living in the Parker/Meridian area and have the best availability from mid-June through the end of July this summer. I would love to connect and see if I might be a good fit for your family!
