But a little about me: I graduated 10 years ago from university with a degree in graphic design but after trying out a full time graphic design job for 4 months, I realized my passion was in taking care of kids. So I switched jobs to working full time in a day care center and I couldn't be happier. My favorite parts of the day are going out to the park and playing, story time, crafts, and dancing to music. Because of my job, I have experience taking care of multiple children at the same time and a wide variety of ages (4 months to 3 years). After working in a daycare for 2 years and gaining a lot of childcare experience, I made the switch to nannying. I have worked the last 7 years as a nanny and have loved every minute of it. I love to partner with families in caring for their precious little ones,

The first time Katie came to watch my girls she walked in, knelt down and asked them questions about their day and asked what fun things they would like to do together. My girls who are very shy, lit up and came out of their hiding places. By the time I left they were laughing and didn't even seem to care that I was leaving. When Katie was caring for them, they played house, colored, read books, etc. She was always on time. She was the only person outside my family that I trusted watching my children. Katie would always play with them not just sit and watch them play. I felt safe because she was current in CPR. I absolutely recommend her! She is a gem! Katie is honest, sweet and kind. In the 2 years of knowing her, I never heard her speak unkind, or lose her temper. She is loyal. She is responsible and is great at communicating. You will be so happy to have her!
