About Katie

I'm very passionate about getting to know kids and empowering them to be their unique selves. For the past 9 months I have worked as a behavior technician with autistic children. I also have camp counselor and babysitting experience. I'm first aid and CPR certified, enabling me to provide a safe environment for kids. I'm known for my patience, creativity, and friendly approach. I'm quite artsy and I love engaging kids in arts and crafts. I enjoy engaging them in both outdoor games and board games, and letting kids show me what they are excited about. I believe in keeping parents regularly updated on their child's day via the parents' preferred mode of communication. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a structured environment. Looking forward to seeing if I'm a good fit for your family :)
