About Katie

Hi there! :) I'm Arizona born and raised and moved to California in 2019 because I love being outdoors! I've grown from a frequent babysitter to a long term nanny for families I've truly become a part of. I've worked with children from newborn through age 14 and have also tutored 4th grade and below. I'm adaptable to new environments, creative, energetic, and always happy to jump in wherever I'm needed. I love bringing the energy and finding ways to make everyday moments fun, especially getting outside, doing crafts, exploring, or fully committing to an elaborate game of pretend. (Playing pretend is probably my specialty). I really value having a healthy, trusting relationship with parents, and I believe communication is key. I like to go above and beyond, take initiative, and make things easier for the whole family whenever I can. I'm currently looking for occasional babysitting, short term positions, and families who need a dependable extra set of hands!
