About Katie

Hi, my name is Katie and I have been working with children for the past 25 years. I've worked in early child learning centers starting as an infant teacher and working my way up to a Program Director. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant and have worked at CCMC and the Hospital of Central Connecticut in the postpartum/newborn unit I'd describe my personality as positive, cheerful, patient I like working with kids because I am very comfortable around children and love to nurture their growth and creativity. Family is extremely important to me so I take what the parents needs are very seriously. I've been a stay at home mom on and off since my son was born. He is now 16 and doesn't need me as much. I miss working with young children and I would love to help a family out with whatever their needs are. In my spare time, I like to spent time with my family, take vacations, day trips, go to museums and the beach. I love reading, baking, watching movies, and spending time outside.
