I spent 15 years teaching children from birth to kindergarten and before/after school care for older kids and am currently taking care of a delightful newborn. I have 3 children of my own, 20, 22, and 24. I have experience with the patience and practice caring for children requires and the joy that comes with watching them grow. I have done many years of teacher training and have been parent aware certified. I have worked with kids with different challenges and am always willing to learn something new. I have also used these skills in my experience as a nanny. I deeply appreciate the experience of becoming part of a new family and growing with you and your children. Katie was punctual, very responsive, and had excellent communication throughout our encounter. We set up a time to chat before to make sure I was comfortable, and she followed up to stay in touch the weeks leading up to the event. She brought activities for him to engage with and was able to get him down for bed both nights. Will hire her again next year when we’re back in the area!
