Hello there! I am very patient and I love helping maintain a level of normalcy. Safety is my utmost concern and I carefully monitor your loved one when I take them on outings to the park or to museums. I understand good nutritional choices and I carefully prepare meals that are healthy but that they also love to eat. I have had terrific relationships with all of the families and love ones with whom I've worked. I am only leaving my latest position because the loved one has transitioned and they no longer require my services. Although my employer offered to keep me on in a housekeeping role, my true love is working with loved ones. I have great verbal communication skills and can assist with all needs. The gentleman I had cared for was 93 and I was a live in caregiver. My duties included administering medication, bathing, cooking, feeding, light exercise, errands, outings (museum, restaurants, doctor's appointments), changing, and assisting help in the bathroom.
