As a nanny for three years for a fabulous family juggling so much, I saw first hand the challenges homework can place upon a whole family's routine. This is compounded when the child may be struggling with learning disabilities, ADD, or other developmental delays. I have experience providing creative, engaging, yet firm and disciplined tutoring to support children from ages 7-12 in their homework. I have a B. Katie is, first and foremost, terrific with kids. In her position as Program Director with DPS, she was mature with her cohorts, fair and open with her employees and positive with the parents. The environment she created was welcoming, inviting and stimulating. She did not shy away from challenges, so was able to navigate the administrative demands of her job at DPS. I also knew of her work at Highlands Preschool Academy. I see how her dependability and creativity made her a top core early childhood teacher there. Katie is of high character, reflecting a strong sense of morality and responsibility. I would recommend her caring for one's children, relatives or pets without hesitation.
