About Katie

My name is Katie and I have been babysitting/nannying for over 10 years. Previously I worked as a mother's helper. I am a college student working towards being a child life specialist. My dream has always been to work with children. As long as I am working with kids I am fulfilling my purpose. I have volunteered at the Cancer Community Center of North Texas in their Noogieland program for kids as well at Our Children's House Hospital. I currently volunteer for the Humane Society of Asheville, Eliada, and the Make a Wish Foundation. My time is very flexible and I will usually be available when you need me. I love working with newborns, infants and children of all ages and don't mind multiples.. I am a huge animal lover and pets don't bother me. I am a certified newborn care specialist, have taken the Red Cross Advanced Childcare class and am infant/pediatric first aid and CPR certified, I would love the opportunity to speak with you and see if I might be a good fit for your family!
