Hello! I'm Katie, 20 years old, a triplet, and just graduated from college last week. I'm young but have a lot of experience. In high school I worked with special needs children SPECIFICALLY on reading comprehension for nearly a year. They were also in third grade, so I saw this and knew it'd be a great fit. While at college, I also worked with special needs children extensively and met with a girl each Saturday to brush up on schoolwork and learn in a fun and positive way, as often she would get frustrated and shut down. Even last summer, I nannied an autistic man and we learned things such as the beginnings of sign language (he was non verbal except for scripting) and more. Would love this opportunity because I really feel like I could be beneficial.
