Hello families! My name is Katie and welcome to my care profile. A little bit about my nanny journey, I was a Montessori instructor for 2 years, and worked for an action day primary school. After my teaching journey I switched gears to the nanny field in which I've been in for 5 years. Alongside nannying I host a weekly Music and Movement class for toddlers. I've worked with many age groups from infant to pre teens. A typical nanny day with me consist of going to different libraries, parks, and child related activities/events. I have experienced in sleep training and scheduling children's day to day routines. I am able to provide a tidy, fun and most importantly a safe environment for your little ones! I have known Katie for over 1.5 years through our nanny/playgroup and she is also our backup nanny. She has consistently been reliable, diligent and thoughtful in her care. She follows established routines very well but can also help get those routines in place. I also love that she knows how to have fun with kids and engages them in age appropriate activities, and brings a positive and joyful energy into our home. Our child is slightly on the harder side when it comes to accepting new caregivers but with Katie she is so happy and looks forward to seeing her. Thats a testament to Katie’s ability to connect with kids and give them space to acclimate. I am grateful for Katie’s services and that she is such a nurturing caregiver - I’m at peace when my child is with her.
