About Katie

I worked for a preschool in Florida for 7 years and I worked for a child development center in Longmont, CO for 2 years. I was the lead infant teacher in both schools, but I am comfortable with all ages. I was also a part time nanny for 4 and 5-year-old brothers in FL. My duties include picking up from school, driving them to after school activities, preparing meals, homework, cleaning, etc. I began working as a full time nanny in CO 8 years ago taking care of an infant and worked with that family until he was 18 months. I have done a nanny share with 2 infants and after that worked part-time with another family with their infant. I have been with my current family for the past 5 years working with their son who was 7 months old when I started and have worked with many of their friends children. I plan my own curriculum and I am knowledgeable of age appropriate activities. I have my CDA. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
