About Katie

Hello. My name is Katie and I'm a 38-year-old mother of 2 teenagers. I was able to stay at home with my children for 10 years. Once my children were both in school full time, I was able to go back to work. Working with and helping children has always been my main passion. I obtained a job at an elementary school working as an Aide for 2nd and 5th graders. The following year I started working at a daycare center where I have continued employment since September of 2018. I have worked directly with children ages 12 months- 3 1/2 years. I absolutely love watching these babies learn and grow! I am CPR and First Aid certified and am up to date on continuing courses and training for Early Childhood Education. I have worked with many children and their parents over the years and am easily able to adapt and adjust for the each child's individual needs. I have reliable transportation, I am comfortable around pets and willing to cook and clean if needed.
