About Katie

Hello and welcome all! My name is Katie and I have been a practicing Nursing Assistant for the last four years. I received my training on-site at my first healthcare job at South County Hospital in RI. I worked for two years on an Orthopedic in-patient unit as a Patient Care Technician. Hospital experience was a fabulous way to start my CNA career as this is environment is fast-paced, lots of problem solving and critical thinking with lots of exposure to patients across all demographics. After moving to Seattle in August of 2022 I have been spending less time in the rapid fire hospitals to explore the gorgeous landscape on the West. I still work per diem in the pre/post op surgical units at Overlake Hospital. I have moved into the home care scene as a way to connect on a more personal level with those individuals and families in need. The joy of CNA work is creating positive impact in someones life and I look forward to our positive growth together!
