About Katie

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, creative, and friendly. I like working with animals because working with animals allows me to express my nurturing side and experience the unconditional love and companionship they offer. I am diving into the pet sitting jobs because I believe it would allow me the flexibility to be able to earn on the side of my main job. I started working with animals since I was a kid. I've been around everything from as small as a hamster to as big as a horse. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. We love to travel and explore the world, and everything that comes with it. One thing you should know about me is my unwavering dedication to provide the best care to animals I work with. I know basic animal behavior, and I can read body language, vocalization, and communication cues to help gauge a situation. Last but not least, I know basic emergency responses as far as basic first aid for pets, and when to seek veterinary assistance.
