About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I am 32 years old from Halifax. I have been involved in childcare since I was 10 years old, starting as a mothers helper! I continued to babysit for date nights through middle school and high school, as well as worked as a full time nanny during the summer for 3 children during high school and college. After finishing my business degree, I tried working in insurance but soon realized my true passion was still in childcare. So for the past 6 years I have been working as a full time nanny for a family of 3 children, ranging in age from 3 days old to 9 years old. I have been responsible for breakfast and lunch and the occasional dinner. I have helped with potty training, homework and I home schooled 2 of the children during COVID. I drove the children to school and all after school activities as well. I love going to the playground, library, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and just having fun!!
