I adore Katie! and I give her the highest recommendation possible. For 10 months she was the nanny for our 2-year-old son, and the experience was outstanding. The only reason we parted ways is that a very good (full-time) summer job opportunity came her way and we could only offer part-time. She gave us a full month s notice and we supported her decision. Katie is a dream-nanny: intelligent, loving, cheerful, patient, creative, and extremely reliable. Our son bonded with her quickly. They did all sorts of stuff together: parks, bookstores, walking, reading, puzzles, blocks, cuddling, singing, lunch at a food cart, trips. She drew pictures for him on his blackboard, recreating characters from his favorite books. Best of all, she showered our little guy with affection, attention, and joyful energy. We miss her, but we re still in touch she feels like family. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
