About Katie

Hi, I'm Katie! I'm a former childcare center director and teacher, a mother of four, and someone who genuinely loves helping children learn, grow, and become the little humans they're meant to be. I combine my professional experience, education, and genuine love for children to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment. I have a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development and Education and graduated with honors. During my education, I worked with children with visual impairments and children with autism. I also successfully defended my thesis on tools for teaching children with autism to read. I have experience caring for kiddos from infancy through teens. I love reading, crafts, hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and turning everyday moments into opportunities to learn. I'm kind, compassionate, patient, nurturing, and dependable, and I strive to make every child feel safe, valued, and heard.
