About Katie

In middle and high school, I babysat frequently on the weekends for children of 4-10 years old. Most of my recent childcare experience comes from babysitting little cousins while their parents enjoy a night out. Watching and taking care of children brings me genuine joy. I love to play games, do crafts, work with, and teach children. I find the best way to connect with children is to get on their level. Expressing genuine interest in something they like and asking them questions about their experiences and interests allows them to open up and see me as a caretaker and friend. I am patient, warm, creative, empathetic. I look forward to making your life a little easier.
