About Katie

The oldest of three daughters in a single-parent household, I often found myself as a young mother's helper. It instilled in me a love for childcare and an understanding of how helpful and comforting it is for parents to have a regular babysitter that is caring, reliable, and committed their children's safety and development. Whether it is a few hours to for a weekly date night, time to complete errands, or the assurance your children will safely return home after school, I feel honored that I can help provide this peace of mind for families. I have provided care for children as young as newborns and as old as high school students. I have also interacted with children in this age range in the form of athletic coaching, youth ministry (YoungLife), and clinical mental health counseling (currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor). Tasks include: housekeeping, meal preparation, school pick-up, homework help, bedtime routines, arts&crafts, sports/physical activities
