Growing up my family has always had at least two dogs. Most recently, we have had four dogs (three labs and some type of pit mix). I have grown up on a farm down the road from my cousins, who had cats. I have always had a love for all kinds of animals. In high school, I volunteered close to 100 hours at the local animal shelter each year, which means I have cleaned my fair share of dog and cat messes in my life! I would love taking care of pets (especially dogs) in the area mainly because I miss my own back home.
