About Katia

Hello! my name is Katia I'm originally from the cold south of Brazil and have lived in the US for almost 20 years. I'm 37 and have been caring for children since I was 11, with experience from 5 months to 13 years old. I love being part of children's everyday lives and supporting their development through singing, talking, reading, sensory play, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate play. I enjoy encouraging language, social, cognitive, and motor skills in a natural and fun way. I'll be starting Newborn Care Specialist classes in September to expand my knowledge of newborn and infant care. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping since I also had a cleaning business back in Ma. Can also do organization, and meal prep as time allows, and I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes. I have wonderful references and would be happy to provide them. I'd love to become someone your family can trust.
