I babysat for as many as 5 young children when I was much younger, before I had children myself. I raised 2 boys, now ages 22 and 25 both of whom recently graduated from college. Since taking early retirement in 2012, I cared for an 18-month-old girl for several months until the family moved away. From August, 2013 through June 2019, I took care of a little boy part-time (now 11. 5) and 3. 5-year-old little brother. In this position, I brought the kids to after-school activities, prepared meals for the children, went hiking, played basketball and soccer, read with them, made sure all the homework was done each day, etc. I really enjoy children, especially reading with/to them and playing outside. I always go the extra mile, working with them to identify activities that will help them learn what their special skills, talents and passions might be. The family just relocated to Florida and I would like to find a new "family". I am a pet lover and love to hike, run and read in my free time

Kathy took care of our 7 yr old from 2019-2022 and our 2 yr old for a year. Kathy was excellent with our boys, she used to pick them up from school, take them out for walks and bring them home. She also used to take our older son to his music lesions, swim classes and local libraries and encouraged his reading habits very much. She would always share the days experience with our kids at drop off. She is very dependable and reliable. Kathy was the only babysitter who stayed with us consistently and even through the pandemic offering her services and assisting with challenges of virtual learning. If you are looking for an energetic, positive, reliable, consistent, and mature babysitter for your kids, Kathy is the person you would want. We had to leave her as we moved towns.
