About Kathy

I began babysitting for fellow church members at the age of 13. At the age of 18, I was caring for four children on a regular basis as a nanny. In 2008, I began working at a local daycare/preschool but due to the economy, the number of children in attendance decreased and I was no longer needed. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child Development. I also have a Master's degree in criminal justice. I made a career change in 2023 and went into teaching, so I am looking for part time (or full time) work during the summer break. Through both careers I've had, I have gained much knowledge into how children develop and how to ensure they develop correctly. I have found spending time with children is one of the most valuable contributions to society and I love the input I am able to give to children as far as shaping their future. I would love to work with your family & help teach/guide your children in any way I can!
