Hello my name is Kathy, Infants & toddlers are my specialty. I truly enjoy spending time with children and have over 40 years in childcare experience. With a nurturing & calm spirit I can take an upset child and calm them down. It all began in College while getting my degree in Education. I'm a Mother of 4 adult children, before becoming a Mother I was a Kindergarten teacher. Having a background in Early Childhood has given me the tools to adapt to many different situations because children can be unpredictable and each child is unique. Safety is also important when taking care of children, which is why I stay current with my First aid and CPR training. It is important to foster a child's development. Part of being a nanny is to provide those kinds of experiences. As a former teacher I love to think of fun activities or have age appropriate experiences to support that growth. Kathy is truly amazing and has really become a part of the family. Our little one adores her and we feel that she is safe in her care. She has been helping teach our daughter sign and helping us hit her developmental millstones.
