I am a retired reading specialist and work with students from grade 3 to high school. Tutoring is completed over Zoom, which can usually be very effective. I use a shared screen with use of graphic tablet. My experience is with reading skills, study skills, test taking (not SAT), reteaching of skills needed for homework, listening, responsibility issues, executive functioning, elementary math, and academic coaching. Some students need personalized remedial work and others need academic coaching and support for content, homework, and projects. There is ongoing informsl assessment and input from student and parents. For home school parents, I can provide consultation and direction. I am very FLEXIBLE WITH SCHEDULING. Meeting times can vary. Cancellation up to one hour before our appointment. Most sessions are Monday through Thursday but I can accommodate some Saturday and Sunday sessions. MANY references are available.
