About Kathy

I have worked with kids of all ages for over 30 years and have been a nanny for over 15 years. I spent 9 years with one family, caring for their twins from the age of 2 and for their third child from birth. Children are such a joy. I love playing and nurturing them and guiding them as they grow! I feel grateful that I could be a part of that family for so long. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Development, and my work experience also includes being a preschool teacher, where I taught kids basic skills and how to share. I value helping kids develop: learning to safely explore their world, to be kind to others, recognize their individual strengths, and grow confidence. I am a very caring, loving, patient, and kind person. I am always on time and I'm very reliable and flexible with my schedule. I am very healthy and strong . Kathy is the Best. She was with us 2+ years (infant through child stage) and we are devastated that our son has aged into full-time school and cannot remain under Kathy's tutelage. She enjoys spending time with kids and teaching with them. Our child is advanced beyond their peers, and it is from Kathy's play-based learning instructions. Kathy was more than a babysitter, she became my right hand, the person to bounce childcare questions off of. I will be personally lost without her participation in my motherhood. Anyone that has the pleasure to hire her, will be lucky and their kids will benefit from it the most.
