I have been a teacher for 36 years and I am looking for part-time work including weekends and evenings. I taught third grade and have taught Kindergarten through fourth grade. I have two boys that are grown. I babysat and was a nanny in high school and college. I have babysat for many local families and have references. I have watched children from 2 weeks old to middle school age. I am willing to take the children to the zoo, library and other educational places. I especially enjoy watching infants and bring books and activities with me. I will do light housework if time allows. I have been on Care. com for eight years and have met and sat for several families.

Kathy and her daughter, Miranda, provided childcare at my sisters wedding yesterday in Delphi. They were on time, very kind, and great with the children. They handled multiple kids at a time, including up to 6 toddlers and 1 infant, all while assisting during the ceremony with the flower girl! They did snacks, baby food, naps, bottles, diapers and toileting, tons of play time with toys, and lots of snuggles with a fussy baby out of her element. They had their hands full and didn't not seem stressed or overwhelmed at all, very seasoned professionals! I highly recommend them for anyone looking for an exception childcare provider! I felt 100% comfortable, supported and safe with them there taking care of my children. Huge thank you!! PS. Bring Kathy a Diet Coke if you want bonus points! I'll remember this next time :)
