About Kathryn

Hi! My name is Katie and I just finished my first year of vet school at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine with a 4. 0 GPA. I graduated with a bachelors degree in animal science from UT as well. Throughout undergrad, I was an online tutor helping students at the elementary level through college. I have experience tutoring in English, Reading, elementary math, Algebra I/II, Geometry, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry I/II. My favorite experience was tutoring a student in her 7th grade math class and seeing her go from an F to a B+. I also have experience tutoring in reading and working with dyslexia in elementary students. I love teaching and helping others, and I especially love helping someone have a lightbulb moment! I would love to help your child understand what they're learning so that you can thrive in their academics! Sometimes it takes time for things to click, and that's ok!
