I'm currently attending Eastern Michigan University pursuing a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education. I have eight years of experience caring for children from ages two to 13, both as an in-home nanny as well as in an accredited childcare facility. In my various positions I've assisted with tasks such as transportation, meal preparation/light cooking, laundry and household chores, grocery shopping, etc. Having grown up as the oldest of four children, I naturally have an "older sister/mom's helper" mentality that I've found serves especially well in this setting. I find it so fulfilling to spend my time making a busy family's daily life a little easier, and have loved the time I've spent becoming an extended family member in various households!

Katy does a great job with morning care for our two kids age 3 and 6. She is punctual, reliable, and follows direction. Our kids love her and she is done a great job getting the kids off to childcare and school without issue. She prepares breakfast and the kids love her taste in music on the way to school. She's a lot of fun for our kids and gets the job done.
