About Kathryn

Hi! I am a recent college graduate with strong math skills and experience working with children. I was a Teaching Assistant for Northwestern's Center for Talent Development, a Lunch/Recess Monitor at Chicago Public Schools, and a Physics/Calculus Tutor at Marquette University. I can tutor your child at any math level through AP Calculus BC. I am enthusiastic and very patient working with children at various skill levels. My approach is to tailor my tutoring to the unique needs of the student. I would start by meeting with you and your child to discuss your short and long term math goals and areas in need of improvement. I can work with your student through their homework assignments, or I can bring supplemental worksheets/problem-sets to build up specific skills. My goal is to make sure your student (1) feels confidence their abilities, (2) develops step-by-step processes to approach math problems, and (3) make the learning process fun!
