Hi! My name is Kate and I am a 48- year-old transplant from Long Island, NY. I have been in Charlotte since July 2007. I have a degree (BA) in psychology focusing on early childhood and autism. I enjoy working with kids, teaching them new skills and seeing the joy that they experience when they see what they can do. I believe in reading to children often and early, as language skills are developing even when we think they aren't listening. I enjoy exposing children to new experiences and surroundings as a means of improving confidence, coordination and social skills. I love the special bond between a family and their nanny and relish the opportunity to become a part of the family. I have been a nanny since 2010 and I have enjoyed my time with each family that I have worked with and keep in touch with most.

Most importantly, she is loving, patient, and genuinely invested in their happiness and well-being. My children adore her and see her as a safe space.
