About Kathryn

Nurturing the growth and development of children is my true passion, and I find deep fulfillment in making a positive impact on their lives. I have professional experience working with children as a Mental Health Technician at a psychiatric hospital, where I supported their emotional and behavioral needs in a structured setting. This experience strengthened my ability to remain patient, calm, and supportive while helping children feel safe and understood. I am comfortable caring for up to three children, primarily ages 6-11 and pre-teens. I am CPR certified and prioritize keeping children safe while providing active, meaningful interaction through outdoor activities, puzzles, and educational games. I am also happy to assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I value open communication, follow household routines and rules, and strive to create a positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
