About Kathryn

I have an associates in early childhood, and was a preschool teacher before I got married and started a family. I've been a stay at home mom for 20 years to five kids, two of which have special needs. I was a safe family host to children in need, and a respite caregiver for overnights and weekends to families in need. I have experience and training in kids with adhd, ptsd, behavioral issues, trauma around foster care, being adopted, abandonment and attachment issues. I would like to provide the help that was so hard for us to find to a family in need. If you have an emergency or an event, or if you just need a break or a weekend away to rest and reconnect it's hard to find someone not only willing to take your kids but someone who knows how to take care of them and relate to what you are going through.
