About Kathryn

It might be faster to tell you what experience I don't have but that would make this a very short bio. I come from a family of 7. I am the second oldest and have been babysitting for my parents since I was 12. We are also a homeschooling family, so I can/will teach and tutor. Aside from this, I was a nanny to a family in my father's church for about a year, cooking, cleaning, tutoring, etc. I have also babysat for several of my neighbors and other church members. When I was 14, my family started foster care. The experience this gave me in all types of childcare is invaluable. I have done everything involved with taking care of children from playtime to 2:00 a.m. feedings. I am ready for anything. Other facts are: My mother is a pediatric nurse and I have her on speed dial. My father is a pastor. I am a certified pastry chef and I can cook for allergies. I am in the process of getting my CPR and First Aid certifications and I love to take kids on outings and field trips!
