Kate nannied for our family when our oldest daughter was an infant. We worked out a “nanny share” with some friends of ours, so Kate also cared for our friends’ young son during that time. She did a beautiful job handling two very young children from different families. We always felt secure leaving our daughter in Kate’s hands because she was responsible, professional, genuinely kind and caring. We would have wanted to keep Kate with us for as long as possible, but she went on to serve in a leadership role over our church’s kids ministry.
