About Kathryn

I'd love to help and offer your family childcare. My top priority is always the safety and well-being of your children. I have over 4 years of experience working with kids. During college I worked for 2 years at a nature based forest school in Boone, NC; where I taught nature-based lessons, prioritized safety, and supervised nature exploration! I love to engage with kids through nature, games and crafts. I value learning, being safe, and creativity. I am reliable, patient and love spending time with kids. I have my bachelors in Environmental studies from Appalachian State University and a minor in studio art. I'm currently a student at WCU pursuing a second bachelors in Nurition and Dietetics. I am certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. I am comfortable with animals and have a clean driving record. If you think I'd be a good match for your family please reach out!
