About Kathleen

Hi! My name is Kathleen and I'm a current graduate student in speech-language pathology (graduating in May). I have a passion for maintaining the quality of life for elderly people and those with dementia through conversations and everyday activities. As a graduate student, I have had experience with the elderly population in the skilled nursing setting and the hospital setting. I have gained skills in communication with older adults and feel comfortable supporting them. I have experience providing cognitive assessments and cognitive treatment for older adults and have learned how to interact according to each individual's changing cognitive status. I'm a patient person and enjoy talking with older adults who have tons of wisdom to give. I would love to speak with you about this opportunity more. I look forward to hearing from you!
