About Kathleen

I grew up with 4 siblings so caregiving comes naturally to me and I love it. I am the favorite aunt and have been asked to be Godmother 3 times over. I raised 2 children of my own who are now successful professionals at 28 and 29 years old. I am retired after working for 37 years for a physics society with the past 28 years working in their Information Systems department providing technical/customer support for scientists/referees publishing papers. Now it's time to do what lights me up: caring for the young ones. I am currently employed part time as an Assistant Teacher at Tiny Treasurers Early Learning Center where most of my days are spent with the toddlers (ages 18-36+ months) but I adore infants & older children as well. The children simply gravitate to me as I am kind, nurturing and thrive when teaching. I love to encourage, praise and build self confidence in a safe environment. I have taken numerous professional courses in childcare with certifications since I've been hired.
