About Kathleen

As a dedicated childcare provider with four years of experience, I am passionate about enriching the lives of children and fostering their development. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. I believe in open communication with parents and keep them regularly updated about their child's day, using their preferred method of communication. I gently but firmly enforce household rules, following the parents' lead and avoiding physical punishment or time-outs. Instead, I focus on teaching children why certain behaviors are wrong. My approach to playtime includes a mix of outdoor sports, physical games, and educational activities that promote learning. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time and hold First Aid and CPR certifications, along with coursework in early child development.
